Between baths

How often? A bath every 6 to 8 weeks on average, brushing once or twice a week, daily during moulting.

Care tailored to this breed

Ear care

Drooping or very hairy ears get little air. Regular cleaning, especially after a bath or a swim, keeps them clean.

Helping through moulting

The dense undercoat sheds heavily during moults. A detangling conditioner makes brushing out the dead hair easier. Never clip a double coat: it protects against both cold and heat.

After a swim

This dog loves water: rinse with clean water after a swim in a lake or the sea, and if needed use a treatment that neutralises the wet-dog smell.

Nice Pets advice based on the breed’s particular traits.

At the salon, your groomer can also use Iv San Bernard’s professional lines (Bianco e Nero, Vanesia, Zeolithe), reserved for groomers.
